steve_76MemberI see people say that 4-500 carbs are hard to eat all the time... I think there must be some mis understanding to how many carbs are in certain foods. Two decent size cookies have about 100 alone. Who cant eat 2 cookies, 2 cups of rice and a burger? thats ranging right around 300 right there...
Hard to get those 500gms from clean food like rice/potatoes
try eating bagels. They are about 48g of carbs each.

Haha, potatoes maybe. 200g of carbs from potatoes does make me pretty full, but 200g of carbs from jasmine rice takes me 5-10 minutes and I'm hungry within 20 minutes.

strange isnt it? I also find that rice produces a lot more thermogenesis in me than an equivalent amount of carbs from another source. Would that mean its not as useful for bulking then perhaps? I wonder. But as you point out you usually still have room for other food after it.

CBachelor17MemberI doubt that it is any less ideal for bulking for that reason. But it is most certainly odd how much one can slam of it haha. I can eat sushi for days as well…

I feel the same with rice. they fill me up but after short of period of time i get hungry again. Yesterday i BL with homemade grilled chicken burger, 500gm baked fries, icecream on bun, banana(p30/c210/f30) kept me full for longer. BL with 310gms carbs last night and didnt feel bloated this morning. I might increase my carbs tonight. BL with 400?

CBachelor17MemberIf you didnt feel bloated thats a good thing. How did you feel in the gym? High energy, focus, intensity? if yes, and that BL+ULC portion met your calorie goal stick with that..
