Hey guys, just been introduced to this kind of diet and was so interested in it I have just got myself the off ebook. Interesting read but just need some advice. I have for the last 2 months been on the anabolic diet and the last 2 days was my carb up days. Today I have been back to my low carb state and had about 6grams of carbs. Now I'm heading to the gym after work and I know in the carb backloading book it says you need to go low carb for 1p days. I have already done this phase in a way with the anabolic diet where for 12 days I went low carb, 20g or less.My question is could I do a straight transition to carb backloading and skip this 10 day low carb due to already doing it with the anabolic diet? So to ight after my work out I could carb load?Any advice would be greatThanks

Dunno what you mean by “carb up days.” If that means you ate carbs all day for two days, do the prep phase. If not.. I'd still do the prep phase just to be sure.

Yeah basically the anabolic diet you do 5 days low carb (less than 30g) high fat and medium protein. Then 2 days you swap and have high carbs andlow fat. I thought the 10 day low carb phase is to get your body into burning fat as the main energy source. So was just wondering since I have already transitioned to burning fat as my main energy source?

You went 12 days with less than 20 carbs right?

Yeah that is correct, 12 days having 20g carbs a day. Then got into a routine of having 5 days low carb like the starting phase then 2 days where I would carb up.So just had my 2 carb up days, now back to low carb today.

If you're working out or doing HIIT I personally think you'd be fine in 5-7 days.
