Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this because chest exersize are out for a while I am only comfortable doing air squats and bicepts curls and walking . It does not hurt that bad to do a pushup but a few hours later I'm f-ed up again bad. Ibu works. Some say weeks some say months.I have made great progress with you guys .Thanks

Shit happens man, and injuries suck! Just be sure what you're doing isn't aggravating that area and u should be ok, if not then time off is deff a good idea. I say 2 weeks for bruising.

How do you feel doing rowing type motions? If that doesn't aggravate it, I'd say this is a perfect time to get in some excessive back work.. It's usually a good idea to get in more “pulling” (back) work than “pushing” (chest) work, and most people don't, so this could work to your advantage. If it does aggravate it, like Sammy said.. Just rest it.. Maybe try some wall pushups or something just to get some bloodflow into the area for healing purposes.. Try some epsom baths also.
