Do you guys tend to keep the ULC portion of your CarbNite low-fat or eat your regular full-fat meals?I'll typically eat 80/20 ground beef w/ some nuts for breakfast and lunch on my CarbNite and was wondering if I should switch to low-fat for the day...

It depends and highly individual. For me personally, I would probably end up having a normal ULC meal like any other day. Reason for that is because you have to think about the rest of the day leading up to the CN. If I plan on doing anything during the day, like training for example, I'd personally like to have something to kill hunger and help provide some sort of energy to help get through being depleted and training. I would not think you need much food, but enough..

I always did an ulc meal. Usually 40-60 g/p 30-40 g/f.. more so for the reasoning tex gave, and so I didnt have to eat a fuck ton of meat during my CN

I'm planning on keeping protein the same, was just wondering if I should switch to lower fat ground beef or chicken breast for breakfast and lunch, thus keeping the fat total lower on the day.

I completely agree about the individuality of it. Personally, I have a Bulletproof coffee in the morning (coffee, butter, MCT oil and coconut oil blended) and that satiates me till about 1 pm. It also gives me a ton of energy and the fat should be mostly metabolized in time for CN to start. I'm always plenty hungry by 3-4 pm when we start CN.

I just did a CN, and it was basically identical to a ULC day until about 4:30. So I had my AM Accelerator, then a couple hours later a standard ULC meal (as in, same lunch I'd have eaten if I weren't CN'ing), then a couple hours later I lifted and started CN.

i wake around 8 on saturday, have a T of coconut oil in my coffee, train, have another T of coconut oil in coffee around noon ish, and then start eating at 4. that's just me though, if i were unable to fit my fat and protein in during the later part of the night then i would definitely eat a meal after training but i dont have a problem with that. meal frequency isn't really an issue, so as long as you still get your fat/pro macros in for the day, then you're good to go. if you wanna stress the details, keep your fatty foods for breakfast and lean up a bit for lunch.

dang that's a good idea i might try starting mine later and running it later. i get super tired after eating but have to be awake enough to drive back to my house and by the time i get in bed, i can't fall asleep. i could just start later and save my tired spell for later. nothing like polishing off an apple pie covered in icecream, putting the plate on the ground, and passing out.
