Brandon D ChristParticipantYou sound really stressed out. Consider taking deloading for two weeks. Replace the HIIT with walking three times a week.As far as nutrition, give the low protein, high fat protocol a shot. That is try consuming 160 g of fat and 90 g of protein. Try to avoid nuts and keep vegetables to a minimum. You may want to re-do the prep phase with this protocol. Your current diet doesn't really seem ketogenic so this might help jump start things.Your Carb Nite looks solid, so I don't think anything really needs changed there.

CBachelor17Memberibob do you consider vegetables as something that hinders progress? More specifically the fibrous and/or low carb ones?

For people that are screwed up metabolically, yes, they can be an issue. Kiefer reiterated this several times. For everyone else, I actually think eating vegetables, a decent amount of them, is actually a good idea. I personally eat a couple servings of veggies when I am low carb. Including pumpkin, which isn't exactly low carb.

CBachelor17MemberAlright, I was just curious to your stance on them. I personally eat quite a bit of vegetables while ULC. And have found it to not only help with hunger, but digestion as well. I get that some may not do well when eating them though. You eat pumpkin? Like raw pumpkin? I know that the pure is pretty fibrous.

OurkoParticipantYep, “vegetables are a vessel for butter” 😀

CBachelor17MemberHaha, Sauerkraut has become a new found favorite of mine. Doused in Butter, CO, or both. Lots of pepper too, of course.

Scope75GuestI think I do better with less veggies but still eat a good amount because they help to get me full. Protein and fat are just so easy for me to eat and not get full on.

CBachelor17MemberYea thats why I add on some veggies to my meals. But I have noted adding them to my meals has helped me “regulate” digestively which is an added plus.

Yes it is fibrous, but it also has a fair amount of usable carbs.

They are only a couple bucks a pound and you get 15-20 big ones in a pound.

I make a 45-60 minute round trip to Costco every weekend and its still worth it. I'm from a small town so I'd have to leave to find what I want anyways.
