I am looking for a great 5 day workout. I can find and have used 4 and 6 day routines but would really like a 5 day that focuses more on body groups other than legs. I HATE leg workouts but have great definition and power with them. I do want to work them out but not necessarily 2 times a week. Any suggestions?I currently use Jim Stoppani's workouts.

I love Coen's 5 day split, I've gotten great results using it and the lower volume/higher intensity gives me more time for prehab/rehab and conditioning (which us old guys need) without being in the gym for 3 hours.  I tweak it a bit from it's original form to suit my needs, but this is the basic layout.  I'll put how I'd do it as a bodybuilder, or as a body part split in parenthesis.  M - Squats (legs)T - offW - Bench (chest)Th - Press (shoulders)F - Deadlift (back)Sa - Light Bench (arms)Su - OffHere's a link - http://www.deepsquatter.com/strength/archives/MINE/coan2plan.htmGood luck.

you want to lift 5 days a week or a 5 day a week split? It depends on what your goals are really. If you want to you could simply rotate a 3-4 day routine over 5 days. Giving you slightly more frequency. Which could equal greater gains if you are able to recover properly. A 3 day Push/Pull/Legs split would be good. Or a 4 day upper push/lower push/upper pull/lower pull split. Or Simply a bodybuilder legs, chest, back, shoulders, arms split. Again it really depends on what your main goals are.

Sorry. I should have been more clear. I want to work out Monday to Friday each day and take the weekend off. I am 33 years old if that matters.

What I normally do is take a 4 days split and then pick a lagging body part to make up for a 5th and/or 6th day so that part gets extra volume.

Doesnt tell me a lot about what you are trying to accomplish though. Whats your goal with training?

I am happy with my legs and arms. I want to focus on my torso (chest, back, abs, shoulders)
