5/3/1 Deload Week

    For everyone doing 5/3/1, what are you doing during the deload week? I was thinking of basically goign ULC for the week with a carb night a night before I start the next cycle. Seems like the workouts will be ridiculously easy and backloading wouldn't be that beneficial. Thanks for the feedback.

    Do CNS during a Deload week.

    I personally make the backloads smaller. I don't skip the backload because I'm still doing assistance work.

    Yep do this! I tried the CNS track a few times and didn't feel it helped or had any special improvements that I didn't get by just backloading with fewer carbs and possibly less backloads.For example I would backload 4-5 times a week on 5/3/1 training 4 days a week but deload week I would only backload 2-3 times with minimal carbs so 100-200g. I don't count much anymore I just eat but I know roughly now what works and how much I need.
