I personally make the backloads smaller. I don't skip the backload because I'm still doing assistance work.
Yep do this! I tried the CNS track a few times and didn't feel it helped or had any special improvements that I didn't get by just backloading with fewer carbs and possibly less backloads.For example I would backload 4-5 times a week on 5/3/1 training 4 days a week but deload week I would only backload 2-3 times with minimal carbs so 100-200g. I don't count much anymore I just eat but I know roughly now what works and how much I need.
