Gambit217MemberHi folks,Not sure if the following has been covered already, searched for a thread but couldn't find anything specific. Apologies if i'm re-hashing old topics.Anyways, i've been doing CNS every week now since November which makes it over about 6 months now. I know from reading CNS that Kiefer recommends that after 6 months you take a break as it's not a long term solution.I'm reasonalby content with the results i've seen so far but i'd still like to get leaner. I'm just wondering what you guys on here have done after 6 months on CNS?I'm thiking i might do a 4-6 week stint on CBL, add in carbs purely post workout to limit adding any more bf% and then hit back up CNS again.Anybody any suggestions or tips they found helpful? Thanks in advance! π

Richard SchmittModeratorYou can continue with CNS if you want to. Kiefer actually stated that you can continue for longer than 6 months. He didn't have enough research to back up the length one could run CNS for. You can also try CBL for a bit if you choose to.

+1. After 6 months on CNS, I continued to do CNS, lol. It'll be 1yr on the 1st of June!Β ;Dhttps://soundcloud.com/dh-kiefer/sets/biojacked-radio-27-kiefer33:00 β βCarb Nite is, by far, one of the most optimum diets just to live on if you are a human being, end of story right there.β

TCBParticipantI'm a big proponent of periodizing. That includes diet… So I can actually see a benefit to switching to a CBL style protocol for a month or two or whatever, then doing the intro phase again and back to CNS.Just my opinion π

Gambit217MemberThanks for the input and advice chaps, always good to have some different opinions and views on these things.Think i'll stick with CNS for a few more weeks me thinks, see if i can get myself leaner. First couple of months on CNS i indulged in Carb Nites that were far too dirty as its called in these parts which i think stalled things a bit. The last few months though i've been cleaning up my carb nites a lot more and have seen better results.Onwards and upwards so! Thanks again chaps!Β π
