AdamFiddlerKeymasterBackground: I've been bouncing around between doing CBL and Carb Nite, and before that was eating about 30-50g of carbs daily for a few months with no exception. This is my sixth day of the Carb Nite prep phase before launching into Carb Nite exclusively for a few months. Do you all think it is necessary to go the other four given my background or would, say…eating two pounds of ice cream tonight be okay? Thanks,Adam

nickl413MemberI kinda disagree with the others. If you were 30-50g carbs before bouncing between CNS/CBL you are likely pretty well fat adapted. I think the only reason I would do the full 10 days is if you been over doing it on CBL for a long time. Have you? Personally I have been doing a sort of CNS/CBL hybrid with 3 to 4 days ULC per week. I think I over did my last two back loads and got my heaviest last week and decided to take a week off and re-do the 'prep phase' which for me is only going to be 6 days. I'm back down to my pre-CBL weight and the keto brain fog has past and will start back-loading again tonight. 🙂

AdamFiddlerGuestYeah I mean I'm incredibly well fat adapted, but I think doing the program as written the first time around is best, if only for feedback to Kiefer/data collection purposes. (Truth be told, though, I totally went out and did an extra training session to backload the day I posted that, so back to square one with the 10 day prep phase haha.)-Adam
