ChassoKeymasterHi, so im done with my Prep. Phase and i will backload today after training. (Sadly i got major digestive issues and i think its because of the MCT Oil, so i stop using it until its gone)I have some Questions, so my Base Carb need would be 409g Carbs and my Bodyweight is around 172lbs (78,5kg) at around 20% Bodyfat. I wanna do DB so I took my goal for 175lbs in the Charts, but im a bit confused 🙂So since i wanna do DB I aim for Prot Hi (133,4g) - is this for the WHOLE day or just the LowCarb Day until training - since I need to take 85,3g of Protein PWO? Fat Would be around 32,4g, I should aim a bit higher for DB right? And how long should i wait to Eat my first meal after waking up when doing DB - i read somewhere i could eat after 1 hour but im not sure. 🙂Oh my goodness i really look forward to the Pizza Today...thanks for the help!

kishinvibesGuestHi Chasso, welcome to DH!! 😀I've just started myself and I'm in a similar situation as you, 220lbs (100kg) at ~25% body fat. I think because we both have a higher percentage of body fat SA would prove to be more effective, unless you're already pretty lean that is - Big Tex set me straight if I've got my wires crossed here, I'm new to this so I may be barking up the wrong tree. 🙂If you train in the AM you ideally want to train fasted. Have coffee with the heavy whipping cream at least to get some fats in and decrease insulin sensitivity, then have your workout. Have your PWO shake with the hydrolysed whey, whey isolates, leucine, creatine and optional carb powder 30min after training, as this will allow sufficient time to reach the optimal levels required for muscle protein synthesis. The whey and leucine will boost your free amino acids through the roof during this time and should give you the necessary jump to build the lean muscle. I've normally left about a half hour between my PWO and my re-feed, though I'm still experimenting to find my limitations. Again, if a veteran back-loader sees this post please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm thirsty for knowledge and experience. 🙂Good luck and enjoy the Pizza!!- Kishin

Richard SchmittModeratorHi, so im done with my Prep. Phase and i will backload today after training. (Sadly i got major digestive issues and i think its because of the MCT Oil, so i stop using it until its gone)Ooh not good, try some digestive enzymes and get some Natural Calm!I have some Questions, so my Base Carb need would be 409g Carbs and my Bodyweight is around 172lbs (78,5kg) at around 20% Bodyfat. I wanna do DB so I took my goal for 175lbs in the Charts, but im a bit confused 🙂The carbs are the max amount for that body weight. I'll have to look again but I believe for 175lbs is around 600g of carbs. Also are you looking for straight strength and mass? I would try and use CBL SA to lower body fat a bit.So since i wanna do DB I aim for Prot Hi (133,4g) - is this for the WHOLE day or just the LowCarb Day until training - since I need to take 85,3g of Protein PWO? Fat Would be around 32,4g, I should aim a bit higher for DB right?Honestly that's for the ULC part of the day. Eat majority of your proteins in the morning matched with fat. 1:1 ratio in grams. Try with half your body weight and assess from there. I weigh the same and want to keep the same weight so I'll eat about 60-80g of protein matched with fat. Have 30-50g of protein in the PWO Shake and should have enough for a good protein/carb dinner. And how long should i wait to Eat my first meal after waking up when doing DB - i read somewhere i could eat after 1 hour but im not sure. 🙂Have the coffee mixture at the 12th hour mark about 2-3 hours have the fatty protein meal.Oh my goodness i really look forward to the Pizza Today...Enjoy your pizza!thanks for the help!
