You know how it is. New workout, new stimulation, renewed intensity etc etc. Well i had one of those yesterday for legs & the result is today i can hardly walk due to doms(i know it will be worse tomorrow!) Now this is my last workout for the week (4x week tues -sat), so under normal circumstances i wouldn't be training & backloading again til Tuesday (on SA). My question is do people think there would be any benefit of doing a small-medium backload tonight to aid with my recovery? Believe me this isn't an every week thing. Im just considering it as i havent had this level of doms in such a large muscle group for years, even my calves are toast.

I'd say go for it. The body will use the carbs properly, and there is no way one or two more single BLs will make you fat.
