The coffee you listed shouldn't have any carbs...and if it does then likely a gram or two at most. If you're buying a coffee product that has milk powder/sugar pre added then I'd suggest you reevaluate and buy a basic powder or ground your own beans.

Chuck,I'm not sure what your weight is or what your goals are, but knowing that information does help. But to me, unless you are way smaller than I am (or even if you are), and you have strength as part of your goals, that seems like an extremely light/small backload. You may want to ramp that up a bit with more food.

ChuckMemberStats6’0”190lbsBench is 255lbsSquat is 405Deadlift 315I just got off the CNS from cutting down from 215lbs – 190lbs and noticed a lot of bloat and water on heavier backloads, so I had to dial down on my backloads, and now I feel leaner and more powerful upon waking. So this led me to go rogue on the forum.

Awesome man... that is more important than any number anyone can guesstimate for you. Just thought I'd make sure you had experienced/tried eating more!

sjm-GuestIve got a 2 more questions.1. What about creatine monohydrate, for better regeneration, maybe more power and so. I rly liked this product in past. Should I eat it with my post workout protein shake, or in the morning ?2. When i must go train about 1-2-3pm not about 6pm as usual. Is this fine?Waking - Coffee with few slices butter12.00 - 5 eggs + coconut oil + salamiTRAINING (1 or 2-3pm) caffeine + 5g bcaa past by my trainingPost Workout 2 scoops of protein powderBackload whole mackerel + 200g rice + icecream + small cookieLast Meal 1 scoop of protein powder + 1 sweet baked goodOr I should not eat that meal at 12.00 at all

Brandon D ChristParticipant1. You can take creatine anytime of the day, but I do reccomend taking it in your post-workout shake. You can take it in the morning and post-workout.2. Your plan looks good. Try to train as close as possible to the ideal time. Training mid day isn't ideal, but if that if that is the only time you can train, you have to work with what you have.

Re: lighter back loads, that's the same for me. The back loads are for me seem to be like the dial. Aggressive, I wake up a little bloated feeling, lighter back loads, tighter. No matter how hard the workout. More experiments needed

That always makes me think of a possible intolerance. You might also try cutting out things like dairy and gluten during backloads and see what you results are.If I have dairy in a backload I always feel bloated when I eat more, if I don't I can eat 600-700g carbs and feel awesome the next morning. I also totally avoid gluten, but I've never included it in a backload.

catzeatdogGuestOP , have you done the prep phase?
June 22, 2012 at 5:12 pm #55904
ChuckMemberI just recently decided to cut out dairy about a week ago, and I got the Paleo Solution to become gluten free, going to try this, but since the lack of dairy I have felt great. Also Ibob~ is right, creatine in the morning and PWO…………… morning will fight off Myostatin…….. which is muscle degradation.

Jeffrey HansenParticipantPossible intolerances is a good idea for me to watch for also. More reason to keep track of my meals
