    Hi Guys,
I have some confusion with am training. I need to back load night prior to training…what do I do on training day with off day following? Stick to low carb with post wk out carbs(shake)? Any insight would be appreciated.

Just backload on the nights of your training day regardless of what time you train.

Thanks for the response. There is a lot of conflicting info I am coming across. Just to be clear: if I train: M W F, then I backload on M W F? Half say this, half day backload day before…I hate being the newbie. Thanks for your input

What’s your goal? If you really want performance goals, then you could backload the night before if you want. If it’s more aesthetics focused, you can just do MWF. Even if you’re primary goal is performance, your glycogen stores isn’t going to deplete itself in a day, so you should still be fine. Best thing to do is experiment, if MWF backload is making your sessions suffer, then try loading up the night before and see how that goes.

What is your activity level on rest days? Desk job? School? Cardio? Physical labor?

Go with what Yre said is the norm. Yre makes good points about performance and it really depends on how much activity you do on rest days.

I have a desk job. On off days I do some slow jogging and kettle bell practice. i care more for performance than aesthetics, but will experiment based on your suggestions. Thanks, Gents.
