Normally somewhere between 90-120g depending on how many eggs/what meat I eat.Days I just say YOLO probably 200g+ because I normall y have a large stuffed crust pizza plus ice cream.

Mwahahaha! This is my problem. After years of eating largely high protein and fat I find it very hard to eat low fat. Especially when eating any significant volume of food like in a backload.

I eat a lot of deer and chicken, because I actually like both of them, plus a lot of rice and potatoes. Mostly because I like rice and potatoes. Roasted potatoes with garlic and mustard or bacon potatoes with a bit of sour cream are my favorites for dinner, and rice mixed with fruit or jam is one of my favorite desserts.

sure is which is just why you need to play with your numbers and see what works for you.. it's good to start with the chart then adjust from there

Same here, for a while I was making low carb quiches and eating half at a time, not caring to count fat, so I was eating like 200+ g without thinking about it

30, 6'1", ~195lbs, ~15%bf I think. Should be noted I'm trying to gain.
Eat more then! Im about your weight, slightly shorter and slightly older. I have more carbs than that. But yeah obviously its all individual and IMO types of carbs factor heavily into the equation.
Don't need any more carbs. That much is fueling my workouts just fine. I only noted the attempted gain so there were no "you do carbs on off days?!?" things.I get in around 3600kcal total, so food intake is plenty high, I think

bigguyskyMemberI know it took me a long time to figure out the ammount of carbs i needed and actually the worst thing to do is to listen to other people amounts. It depends on what your trying to do. Ive done the extreme of 600-800 and got huge (and fat). For muscle gain and leaning down though i started doing roughly 150 a night even on off days and usually having 1 night a week where it is prob 500 plus. To tweak it though im starting to have roughly 250 on training days and going ULC on off days just to see.Stats at heaviest were 5'10, 335lbs and somewhere in the low to mid 30's for bf%.Stats now are 285-290 and give or take 25%.

Gary pMemberhow come you guys have a high carb day which is post training and a low carb day on a non training day which is the way i thought it was but then i read this which kiefer explains as having high carbs the day before training and a low carb day on the traing day.

That depends on the time you train and your goals.The base line, assuming you train in the evening, is have carbs after training.

Gary pMemberThanks is what he suggesting then better for accumulative training,because with lower carbs on a training night surely you would burn more fat from training.

Trevor G FullbrightModeratorIdeally you'd want higher carbs on training nights and ultra low carbs on off days and all leading up till training, that gives you the best of fat burning and performance.
