nowyourdeadsonParticipantI will be training 6pm once backloading, but for now it's AM fasted.wake up 530 AM, train 545-645 or som1- 8am- 4 whole eggs, 1/2c cheese, 4oz 85/15 beefm2 12pm ish.. 50g protein (liquid egg whites) w/ 3tbs coco oil (I use walden farms chocolate syrup in here)m3 4pm ish- 10oz beef, approx. 3/4-1c cheese, possible add 1tbs evoom4 8pm- 4 whole eggs and either 30g fat ish worth of bacon or sausage, also cheesepre bed snack, this isn't optimal, I know.. but if it's still ACCEPTABLE, even if not optimal, I will keep doing it..approx 1/2-3/4c full fat cottage cheese w/ cinnamon/splenda (to taste) and 2tbs natural almond butter.. all sludged up.. this comes out to more carbs than any of my other meals.. just not sure if it might be TOO many.thoughts?also, I cook all my meat in oil or butter, and my eggs in butter too.. unable to use MCT because it gives me bad side effects.. I piss out of my butt.once the CBL begins, my plan is to drastically decrease these portion sizes, and most of my cals would be coming post workout.

Rob HaasGuestunable to use MCT because it gives me bad side effects.. I piss out of my butt.
You could be using too high heat. MCT breaks down quickly when heated to high.Like you, I like butter to cook with better anyway.

You are probably fine. I do recommend reading Kiefers articles on IF though, just for future reference.

nowyourdeadsonParticipanti listened to a video of his talking about IF, he doesn't seem to be a big proponent of it unless precontest, and even then i think he said he puts a time limit on it and sometimes it's not even a real fast.my reason for doing it was i noticed that if i fast before doing a ketogenic diet, i bypass that shitty first few days where many people get headaches, lethargy, etc.. i feel like I'm in ketosis by the next day.. i don't piss test, i go by feel, but I've done it enough that i have a good idea when it's working and when it's not..plus for about 7-10 days BEFORE i did that 36 hour fast i was doing my variation of IF which is consume nothing from waking time until about 1h before bed, then hypergorge as much as possible then sleep.. example meal would be 8pc fried chicken, bunch of rolls, 2 lbs mac n cheese, box of cereal, some chocolate covered rasins, bag of doritos, and some ice cream.. then bed.. usually took like 30-60m to eat it all.. then I'd wake up feeling great.
