http://www.musclefood.com/TT5141 They seem to be ridiculously cheap and I'm curious as to whether their meats are of a good quality or not. I was thinking of stocking up on their chicken breasts while it's at £25 for 5KG.

Will take a look at that. I am moving more towards ruminant meat and less chicken coz of the high omega 6 fats in it although skin off breast is obviously less of a concern than drumsticks. Do the do grass fed beef etc??

They have a small selection of Irish grass fed steaks but they seem overly expensive to me.I'm not much of chicken eater nowadays either but I see it as good way to simplify my diet again.A nice lean source of protein, a good dose of butter/coconut oil and some veg. Sorted.

I'm eating a lot more fish, mackerel fillets etc. pretty well priced at Morrisons, keep an eye on labels, most of their fish is farmed.

I've had a fair bit of salmon over the last week. I go through phases with fish. I sometimes eat it every day of the week, then I go off it for a bit. Anyway, I've stuck an order in with the website for 20KG of chicken tits and they gave me an extra .5KG.I'll soon find out if it's any good or not.

Cool. That Morrisons salmon is farmed. The kipper, mackerel, sardines and pollack etc are caught in the N Atlantic. I prefer this option

Sainsbury's have quite a bit of fresh caught salmon. It's often on offer too.I love makerel too but it's absolute pain to pick the bones out of it.

The fillets at Morrisons were bone free, around £5 per kilo. Kippers great too. Might go and catch some mackerel this week

I ordered on Friday, it arrived today. Looks like good quality meat, very big breasts (insert boob joke here). I haven't ate any of it yet but I will later. The packs on top were free with the order.2rr04xs.jpg

Looks good. On the subject of boob jokes, I was in lidl last week and turned round on hearing a woman's voice shout ” look at the size of these melons”. Her husband, myself, and everyone else in the area fell about laughing as she blushed by the fruit and veg section. On another note, I have just found a local farm shop selling their own 100% grass fed Longhorn Beef at really good prices. Mince at £4.50 per kilo, stewing steak at £6 per kilo and she will give me hearts for free. Also their own lamb etc. I was like a kid in a sweet shop!!!

Lucky git. I go to a market in Frodsham every Thursday and there's a meat stall there with some great offers on supermarket meat. The guy that runs the stall knows me quite well now so I usually get freebies off him. I got 2kg of pork tenderloin for free last week. The only problem is he doesn't stock the same stuff each week.
