DerekcervaParticipantIm mixing something up to put it in capsules, are most powders generally similar in weights? Im asking in terms of mixing different supplements. Will whisking and/or shaking them together suffice or is there some much more difficult method? (Mixing caffeine, yohimbine, ecgc, and a few other things)Thanks in advance

Richard SchmittModeratorI will go out on a limb here and say no they really don't. I could be wrong. Only reason I am saying no is because of the dose you're planning on using for each powder. Could be very potent and worth caution.

GnomerParticipantwhen i made my own mixes i'd either cap each ingredient(even with the cap-n-quick this got tedious and I no longer do it) on its own or if they aren't hard to mask the taste like caffeine i just keep the powder in its package and scoop out what I need and add it to a preworkout or just use those squeeze water flavor things to mask the taste. Citrus sweeteners work well for masking even some of the worst tasting powders.

i used to buy a lot of bulk supplements and cap them but after how much of a hassle it is and how time consuming it turned out i don't do it anymore.. i'd just get tiny scoopers that are measured out and each time you make the mix scoop the powder into a drink and just drink it up.. works fine and is a LOT less of a pain in the ass

DerekcervaParticipantthanks, I'm mainly asking because I'm trying to put a product together that I can market to friends and aquaitances, doing a trial to see if it works for them, and most people prefer the capsule thing

i see.. well to get an accurate mix you'd need a powder mixer which is a very expensive machine.. capping each one individually by hand would be a nightmare if you are doing it alone.. you could use tiny ziplocks for a single serving and put each ingredient in there and tell them to mix it with juice or something with a strong flavor to mask the powders taste...
