I know its a little early to judge anythin but this week i just feel like i am beginning to stall. (Looking at measurements and in the mirror)It would be great if anyone can give suggestions on my daily intake so i know i wont continue making same mistakes later on. wpMemberI just have so much faith in this diet and hope it can work because my dietitian says to me ” go ahead and try this diet but im sure you will not succeed” she thinks those who believe coconut oil is healthy are crazy people. I would love to prove to her that everytjing she has believed all these years are absolute shit.

MikeM3GuestHiWhile I wont really comment on what needs to changed as there are others that can assist better than I can.For a start I always try not to call it a diet, I always says its a lifestyle change. I am totally sure your dietitian wants it to fail because they can say 'I told you so'.I have given this plan to 3 people I know. One came down from 92 to 87 kilos, one came down from 79kg to 75kg and reduced bodyfat by 6% and another came down from 74kg to 66kg and has been getting comments on how much tighter and younger and lean he looks. It definitely works. (they went on and brought the book too) I have had great success on it.Maybe someone else can help with your macros but welcome đŸ™‚ And good luck

wpMemberThanks mike. Im just worried becoz all what CN says is opposite to what my dietitian suggests. I am trying so hard to make the right approach and it feels like im more and more obsessed about measurements and going on the scale (i know this is a big No). I cant help it but to think im doing it wrong and feel so stressful abt it. The more stressful it is the more obsessive i becone and just turning into a worse cycle. Especially there's been some shits happening at work which makes it even harder.

SaraParticipantDo you work out a lot? That doesn't seem like much food–or maybe I just like to eat too much!

Sharon WParticipantare you hungry? It doesn't seem like you are eating enough or perhaps not often enough? I would try mixing up your menu a bit. Having some variety helps with the mental battle of “stalls.” Make sure you get enough sleep. If your job is stressing you, sleep (and exercise) will help to undo what it does to your body. I was wondering if you are insulin resistant or have metabolic resistance? (since you see a dietician). Strength training would help a lot if your body trying to stall fat loss. Or at least that is my experience. Do you lift? If not, maybe look up some body weight exercises you could do or get an app on your phone that does HIIT training? Start slow, build some muscle. Try doing that a day or two a week? While this diet doesn't require exercise for most, those of us with "issues" have to mix things up a bit. I have seen results despite all my health issues. They are slow, but they come. Making this a lifestyle and ignore the scale except for the morning of your carbnite helps. Or just throw the scale away and the measuring tape too. You will see changes in how your clothing fits in good time. Stay strong and try not to be discouraged. If you stick with this, it will happen. I will cheer you on because I know exactly how you feel!

wpMemberThanks Shrenlee for your support. I do workout actually, 2 HITTs after CN and 5 days of weight lifting (nothing too serious though, as I'm a beginner). I stopped exercise this week though because this week has been tough for me and I did mentioned I binged for 3 days on another thread. Today is my first day of prep-phase and I will get back on my exercise routine next week.I told my bf to get rid of my scale which I rely heavily on!! This feels a lot better because I used to stress about it every morning. But that would also mean I will never weight myself even on the morning of my carbnite. That's ok right? Not big deal?I think I will try to create a tastier and more variety menu. I don't get so hungry because I always try to force myself drink more water which really suppress my hunger. Is that wrong? Because I thought drinking lots of water is essential here.

SpatzModeratorYou don't need to weigh yourself. I would suggest using a tape measure and measuring the smallest part of your stomach as firm and small as you can make it, then measure the same place but puffed out as far as you can puff it. Keep those measurements on a little pad in your bathroom (or wherever you measure yourself) and just go off that, if you want to measure more places like your thighs or biceps do those too. But for simplicity I would just measure the stomach. Some people do weight themselves (I weigh myself just out of curiosity “how much weight did I gain after last carb nite?”) But I don't use it for anything other than curiosity. It does not not track my progress. I use my measurements and looking into the mirror for that.Water is good! Drink as much water as you feel you need to! I need to drink more water, actually I'm going to go get me a glass right now since I always skimp on my water intake. (However, this does not mean eat less. CNS is designed so you can eat plenty of food, starving yourself in any way will cause negative results/stalling.)Don't stress on the little things. đŸ™‚

wpMemberThanks SpatzDoesIt!! I think eating the same thing everyday makes it like a ritual for me and on days when I'm hungrier I just wouldnt let myself eat more because I am afraid that may put me out of track. It became really stressful because I felt I was no longer listening to my body. I am taking a week off and should get back on the wagon next week, creating more variety menus. For this week, I just let myself eat whatever I want.
