New to CNS so please forgive if this is redundant. I really did spend a lot of time searching for answers. I have just finished my work out and pounded an Isopure zero carb protien drink which advertises 40 grams of 100% Why isolate. Then I recalled seeing somewhere(??).. liquid protien bad, powder good. Can anyone clarify? Thanks
You just want to reserve using protein powders except for post workout.Ready made protein drinks are pretty crappy and I'd avoid them.Correct me if I'm wrong but the isopure is 2 scoops per serving, right? If so you only need one.
Powder Protein is your best option as for a PWO Shake and to be added with backload or Carb Nite meals. Isopure drinks, if I recall correctly, don't have anything "bad" for PWO, but you'll be spending a lot more money and pretty much a waste. If you have some already, I would use the rest during backloads or meals during a Carb Nite
It is already pre mixed but I thought I read or heard that this process destroys the isol;ates or soemthing like that here is th link. I know it is more expensve thean powder but is just convenient http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/nb/drink.html
Yeah, those suck. You also end up spending way to much on them. When you finish them off order some powder off of proteinfactory.com or truenutrition.com
Premixed liquid protein shakes are pasteurized with the protein already in it, which denatures the proteing and you end up drinking a really expensive bottle of chocolate milk.
