FairyGuestHave you tried mega doses of MCT?

Trevor G FullbrightModeratorI'd agree with both a high dose or MCT or Magnesium. Either way be close to a bathroom.

I used to get this when i first start a lot... i used just a very basic fiber supplement and took about 20g before i ate my first meal so that a few hours later i was good to go. Just my experience anyway.

RoadblockParticipantI have been low carb/high protein for almost 2 years now, except for starting CBL a few months ago. Now I am ULC before workout and on non workout days. I have always had a problem with this and used to use metamucil, but for the last 6 months I have used nothing. I have problems with appetitie and bloating so eating more isn't really the way I want to go. I have tried it and it seems to bung me up even worse. I already drink minimum of a gallon of water per day.I don't want to chug a bottle of Mag. Citrate once a week and clean out either. I am looking to take something regularly to keep things flowing properly all the time. I use 3 tablespoons of MCT oil a day usually, spread out over 3 - 1 tablespoon doses. RB

Trevor G FullbrightModeratorYou should be supplementing with magnesium anyway, basically everyone is deficient.Take 2-4 tsp at first untill you get things moving again, then start taking 1-2 tsp before bed, it will help relax you and you'll likely sleep better.

RoadblockParticipantIs there a difference between Magnesium and Magnesium Citrate? As far as what I am needing it for anyways.RB
November 12, 2012 at 5:35 pm #101377
Trevor G FullbrightModeratorAll magnesium supplements will be bonded with something.Mag cit is just one of the better forms to use, and it's priced well.Just avoid magnesium oxide, its worthless.

RoadblockParticipantThe magnesium I bought was in 250mg pill form. I took 1 the first night and nothing happened the next day. then I took 2 the next night and nothing happened. Then I took 3 the next night and the next day I went, but I usually go every 3 days anyways, so I took another 3 that night and nothing happened the next day. I took 3 again and again nothing happened the next night. If I go 4 that will be 1000mg. Does that seem high or is that a low dose?RB

Is it mag oxide? If so that would be why. Oxide is worthless.
