Gday everyone. Just read CBL 1.0 and very excited about starting the preparation phase. I will be doing the SA and have a question. I am a little confused as to when to backload in relation to training mornings and evenings. I train Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 5pm so I understand to backload on these nights but I also train on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 10am. Do I backload Friday and Saturday nights in preparation for Saturday and Sundays 10AM training?Look forward to hear back from those more experienced than me (which is everyone here I'm guessing) Jonno.
That is correct. You backload the night before to increase the insulin response in your post work out shake. There's an insulin memory from the night before giving you a greater insulin response.
Thanks for your response. That clears the first concern. Still a bit confused as when to backload after the Sunday AM training as I'm back to 5pm training the following day (monday).
jonno i think the less days you backload the better, that is, if you do your backload properly, that said though fuck i wish i could backload every day with jam donuts, but lets be realistic lol
