I just bought a banana cream pie mix for my upcoming CN which calls for 3 ripe bananas.  Just checking to make sure very RIPE bananas are ok on carb nite?  I know Keifer does not recommend fruit but I thought i heard him say bananas are ok.  Can someone confirm this? Thanks

Overripe bananas are starchy and have a higher glucose content than regular fruit; for a carb nite, you should be fine, especially if you get in a workout that day.

There were some really good studies done back in the late 50's and early 60's on how the carbohydrate profiles changes as a banana ripens.  Worth the read if you eat a lot of bananas.
