Currently on CBL, still trying to bulk, and right now I take 25g of whey isolate right before bed, training day or not.I understand cottage cheese might be better (is it?) but I am lactose intolerant, so I'm afraid digestive issues might mess up my beauty sleep. Also cottage cheese is pretty hard to find in France, where I live.Would hard cheese like emmental work well? It has about 28g of fat and 28g of protein (pretty much no carbs) in a 100g slice, and very low lactose. It is much fatter than cottage cheese so I'm not sure how it would interact with growth hormone release and such, or if it could slow the digestion of the last carby meal I ate about an hour before bed.what do you think?
