simonsky96MemberI don't know if this a problem or not…I'm on carbnite with about 2000kcal per day (I'm a smaller dude) and take in about 30g fiber per day from coconut flour (added to my meals as a supp with 2g usable 6g fiber and no it's not as gross as you think). Admittedly I don't eat any green veggies because of laziness.I have noticed, however, that I am not that regular (with my definition being taking a dump everyday). I do not feel stuffed up and when I do go it is smooth sailing with no effort but I am worried of the frequency. I used to take in about 10-15g fiber before from veggies and figured I should be more regular now if I bumped up my fiber intake to twice that amount. What happened is that I haven't noticed any considerable difference. I take in 1-2 gallons water per day so no I'm sure I am fully hydrated. What do yo guys think?

d3spwnParticipantTry resistant starch instead of coconut flour.

Richard SchmittModeratorI don't think that will help because it is not fully studied yet. Use digestive enzymes, Probiotic, Green Vibrance, Amazing Grass, or Natural Calm.

Adrian CaronParticipantCoffee and using MCT can help too if not already

simonsky96Member^Already on them.No one sells probiotics or digestive enzymes here that I know of so that's a no.what if I increase fiber even more to about ~40g? As long as I space it evenly to avoid digestive issues

Trevor G FullbrightModeratorWhat kind of diet did you follow before? Also, understand you simply don't have as much waste digesting or fermenting when you don't eat carbs. Meat and fat will undergo enzymatic break down and you wont excrete large amounts like you do with carb foods of any type so you simply wont go as often.

This makes me thing you are fine.If you came from a fairly high fiber diet it helps to slowly decrease your fiber load, though you should get to the point were 10-20g is all you need.If you do feel you need some help moving things a long and feel stopped up, add some extra MCT during the day.
