Hi Guys,Just want to introduce myself. My name is Ben and i'm from London. I am preparing to start CBL, i have read the book cover to cover and am now in the process of buying the essentials (protein, omega 3's, MCT) and planning my diet. I have been weight training for 9 years and am hoping to see some significant gains. i haven't been this excited about anything training related in years. I currently weigh 260lbs and have approximately 16-18% body fat, i'm 6ft 1in and 28 yrs old. I am planning on continuing with my current training regime which is single body part (chest,legs.....) making 5 weight sessions a week with 1 HIIT session. If anyone has an opinion on this I would be grateful for feed back. Cheers guys, i will keep you updated.

Thanks for the welcome, nice to have some experienced brits to chat to. My first question is how are you guys getting on with the regime? secondly where do you get your supp's? my protein.com is pretty good but im struggling to find decent MCT's.Cheers.

I get coconut oil from AbleandCole.co.uk. They also have THE BEST butter from a farm where they hand milk the cows, know them each by name and only treat them with homeopathy 😉 defiantly NO antibiotics 😀

I often use my protein, and that's where I get coconut oil (I don't use mct)  I'm also using their leucine and impact whey isolate (as it's very low carb.) service is normally spot on. The other place I check for deals is affordable supplements.com

As for how I'm getting on with it… Very well! Been on it for about 7weeks I think. Lost a stone in weight, and nearly 2″ off my waist. I can now fit into trousers that didn't fit before. I found it took a little while to get into it but then it got easier. I've just come off it as in ready for 2 weeks all including a few days, but when I get back il be back on it as I have a survival of the fittest race to train for. I've attached a link to my log so feel free to have a look. It may, or may not, be of use! http://dangerouslyhardcore.com/forum/index.php?topic=3093.0

Thanks Fairy. I think I could have done more but towards the end my work was really messing up my eating. Working long shifts, with different start times and no meal breaks can be a bit awkward!

Hey Ben, is it the mens health challenge your doing? Keep me updated with your training and how it's going. I've never done anything like it before, but it's gonna be a good achievement to finish the race... Even if I can't walk for days after!!
