I usually use 1 tsp pre workout , and 2 tsp post. Wether on weight training, or skill training days. Is this optimal ? More, less ?BCAA's are probolly the single most disgusting thing I ever tasted lol !
dose is 5g's = (2,500 mg's leucine, 1,250's of iso leucine and valine). I know leucine is pretty much the one out of the 3 that matters. Next supp run I'll pick up just leucine and glutamine
Using leucine alone is more due to convenience and coest effective (depending on the brand, of course). You can use one 5g serving of leucine as opposed to two 5g servings of BCAAs. You can continue to use BCAAs intra-workout and use them in your post workout shake, just make sure the leucine ratio is up to par, specifically PWO.
