wpMemberMy carbnite is supposed to be every friday. This week, something terrible happened at work and i just couldn't help it but express my anger through binge eating. I binged on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, ALL OUT!!! Needless to say, I will have to do re-orientation again. I've only been on CNS for a month. Question is, regards to the HUGE amounts of carbs I consumed over these 3 days, is 10 days re-orientation enough? Or should I go longer? And if I go longer, how should I feel before I know I'm ready for CN? I didn't have a keto flu when I did my 10 days.Any advice is appreciated. thanks.

"more-is-better" is not necessarily the best approach. You need to restore a lot of fat burning hormones which have certain correlation with carbohydrates, i.e. not eating the carbs keeps those hormones low, which is why there is a weekly re-feed to restore their levels.

CBachelor17MemberThis is taking the topic off to the side a little bit, but have you considered seeing a specialist about your eating habits? Binge eating is a controllable impulse with the right support and advice. I use to experience it myself. Mostly from stress though.

SpatzModeratorI would probably just about everyone has redone the prep phase. 🙂 except for the select few of you supermen with an unheard of willpower, and people who have only been on the diet for a few weeks. Don't stress over it, just go through the 10 days ULC and get back on the wagon.

Indeed, I suffered from eating disorders (anorexia) for 10 years, and did see a psychiatrist for as long as I can remember. I don't see one anymore because I have recovered since last year, but I admit I may still have a binge very occasionally, also mostly from stress.

SaraParticipantI'm redoing the prep phase starting today:) I ate nothing but Korean food during a trip to LA last weekend AND had drinks and pasta for my husband's birthday last night. I'll most likely have to redo the prep phase right after Thanksgiving and Christmas, too.

Bradley R. CollinsParticipant+1 redoing the prep phase right now, currently on day 4. I had a pretty rough weekend eating wise, so I decided to refocus. I've been on CNS for close to 6 months and this is my third time redoing the prep phase. I did it at the beginning, after a week long vacation, and now.

wpMemberarhh…holidays are always hard to stay disciplined. I will be going to Thailand next month for holiday, and their breakfast buffet is the BEST!! anyway, thanks everyone for posting their prep phase experience. It's really encouraging!! Do u guys skip all kinds of training during prep phase too? Because I don't feel like working out this week, especially HITT!! I'm planning to start training next week. That's not a big problem right?

OurkoParticipantI always train, can't stay without training. I like that too much. Enjoy your future thaï buffet, it's a must eat ! 🙂

Bradley R. CollinsParticipantYep, the only thing I change is conditioning work may be lighter or none at all. I keep my strngth work going. Low carb doesn't seem to affect my strength, just my endurance.
