TriniechuMemberThanks so much for all the info guys!! Yes I read online yesterday that the belly fat will be the last to go. I do realize my arms and legs are getting more toned. Which is a definite plus 🙂

TriniechuMemberYesss a light jog will definitely be good for me. My heart rate was up there while i did a 15 minute jog. Some people run for miles and im not that good at running. So walking or a light jog is perfect for me 🙂

NancyParticipantthis article has an interesting view on cardio saying when your glycogen depleted for fat loss it's best to do some short light aerobic exercise at 60% your maximum heart rate so a light jog or brisk walk would do fine for this... worth a shothttp://www.bodysculptinguk.com/muscle-glycogen-replenishment/
interesting indeed which really I'm sure would confuse people .... Interesting info though My Journey started 5/13 CNS now starting CBL

Sharon WParticipantyeah my breakfasts are usually 600+ cals.Usually 2 eggs, coconut oil, cheese and some kinda meat. Sometimes I add 1/2 an avocado too.Yeah im not really a runner. But maybe just a little bit of cardio might help. I was thinking of walking on the treadmill with 12 incline. Or just slow jogging on the treadmill for 15-20 mins for 2-3 days a week. Do you think that would be too much?
Hitt is the way to go ! 2:4 or 1:2 fastest tempo you can then relax that heart rate for either 4 min or 2 min 3x a week. It's bearable....
At one point last year I tried to pick up running. I used a C25K routine. The first week or so you are basically running for a minute or so and walking to catch your breath. Perfect for the non-runner. I found this to be a great way to warm up before I do my weight routine. Even running 30 seconds will get your heart rate up. I would guess its much like HIIT training.

Walking is always good. For everyone. It's the one type of "cardio" that is always fine and beneficial. As long as it's at a pace that you could easily hold a conversation without running out of breath.

Kind of. HIIT is used for a very different purpose than walking would be. It's like apples and oranges. Walking is just all around healthful/beneficial for you, ESPECIALLY in a ketotic/ketogenic state.
