Hi there,I've been wondering lately if i should take breakfast in the morning or not.My goal is strength accumulation and fat loss. That being said, it could be obvious to skip breakfast, or just get some coffee with Coconut oil early in the morning, and get some dense food later at noon. But the thing is, i've got an office work (software engineer, not an active job so), and therefore, don't really have a chance to eat out of the typical feeding schedule : breakfast in the morning, then lunch and diner. If i eat breakfast (would be something like salad, greasy omelet with melted cheese, almonds), that'll be right after waking up (6:40AM).If i don't eat breakfast (just coffee with tbsp coconutoil), what i'm currently doing, i end up with only 2 solid meal per day, which is maybe not enough? My current routine:6:45AM Coffee with tbsp ccnt oil12:45PM Salad/Green veggies, Boiled eggs/Chicken/Tuna, Flax oil, nuts...5:30PM Pre-workout shake (30gr whey +tbsp ccnt oil)6:00PM Training for about an hour7:30PM Post workout shake (30gr whey 5gr Leucine 5 gr Creatine)8:30PM BL , some lean meat with white rice/cornflakes/cake...10:00PM Sometimes a glass of warm milk before bedtime.Kiefer does not recommend to fast more than 12hours i reckon. In my case, do you think the fast would happen between diner, until lunch the next day? Or the glass of milk at night and the coconut oil in the morning would represent some kind of 'break'fast action?Another thing about fiber in the BL. Do you think shooting for a type of HG carb that has a maximum of 3gr of fiber per 100gr (the case for cereals corn flakes) is okay? What would be the limit?Thank you so much!

Well how long have you been going without breakfast and one solid meal before training? How does it seem to fair with you? Is there no way to take a container of food with you to eat at your desk? You can get enough food in with just the two meals, depending on what your lunch meal macros look like. The corn flakes will be fine.

Skip breakfast if it makes your life easier.  If it's easier to eat breakfast, such is the case when you really can't eat a nice lunch, then eat it.  It's not a big deal.

I agree.I used to be big on the whole fasting thing but the more I do this stuff, the more I realize it's not the important, if you skip carbs at breakfast, and ideally till the night and after a workout everything else kinda falls into place.

Ok, thank you guys.So correct me if i'm wrong:As long as the MACROS and KCALS in the preworkout part of the day is respected, it does not matter. No matter if it's spread throughout breakfast and lunch, or just a single lunch. It's just personal preference with lifestyle and goal. The difference would be in maybe getting less of a fatburning action if solid food is ingested early in the morning.

I've been doing the two solid meals a day for few weeks now, and it seems to work ok. My concern actually was, that it would maybe, be not that great for stress hormones on the long term. Too much catabolic, not enough anabolic windows...
