So I found a candy that's primary ingredients are brown rice syrup and cane sugar.Brown rice syrup's composition is 45% maltose, 3% glucose, and 52% maltotriose.Cane sugar's composition is 100% sucrose.  Anyone know if this is superior to candy with corn syrup as the primary ingredient?

I would say no, because corn syrup is glucose. Unless you're talking high fructose corn syrup, which is basically sucrose.

+1 I would actually recommend using the one with corn syrup (not HFCS).  The main reason why people may avoid the corn syrup one is that those often are the commercial brands hhich have a ton of extra chemical crap.  I dont see a problem as long it's not your main carb source

Brown rice syrup breaks down into glucose as well.  Maltose and maltriose are glucose polymers.  Corn Syrup is good too.
