HWC seems that has more lactose on it than butter,I tried both and i do like more with butter, its so good that my acc shake now is something i look forward to take!I put the butter after the hot cofee, that way it just needs a couple shakes and its all emulsified 🙂

I wish I could get into bulletproof coffee, but I can't. I don't even like HWC in my coffee because of the greasy mouthfeel. I take a tablespoon or so of coconut butter and wash it down with coffee and let my belly do the mixing (saves having to wash the blender, too). It still works to keep me full for a while.

Hahah. I just pictured someone taking the spoonful, chugging a bit of coffee, then jumping up and down and shaking their stomach back and forth.

I have a question, I know its totally to the preference of the person ingesting that stuff, but what is your favorite brand of coffee? Does everyone actually buy Bulletproof® coffee? Or just use your own favorite coffee and add the butter, coconut oil, mct oil, etc… ? the branded Bulletproof® coffee is a wee bit pricy. I'm not a big fan of coffee, and I've tried the different flavored ones and they all seem to taste the same. Burnt water. (Who knew that even had a taste?) Just curious if I'm just drinking bad coffee, of perhaps I need a new coffee maker...... Hmm....Now, keep in mind it doesn't taste all that awful after I've added a few tbsps of cream and some sweetener.

I tend toward organic breakfast blends. Organic to avoid the pesticides and chemicals since its my only food in the morning and breakfast blend since they tend to be smooth and mild in flavor.  I dont typically care for dark roasts which can be almost bitter. Since we have had a Keurig, I like coffee more…actually look forward to it. We bought a refillable filter cup that we can put our own coffee in and I occassionally will get some kcups when I see them on sale. I like coffee a lot more since I got the keurig. Maybe our old coffee maker needed to be cleaned as well!  I know coffee has oils and they can go rancid and I'd be willing to bet the inside of our old coffee maker was rancid.  😛

I just grab some beans from Costco, and call it good.

I try to use organic beans whenever possible, since where I shop it is the same price it is a no brainer for me and also in this I'm pretty blindly following something that Charles Poliquin wrote a few years ago.Cold brewing is also my personal preference I think it changes the taste dramatically.

Does instant coffee not work in the bulletproof formula?! I have 3 coffees a day with either coconut cream or butter and I love it but I can't stand the real ground percolated stuff. It just tastes like burnt. I find the instant coffee is much milder and really tasty when sweetened with stevia and my fat of choice. But is it having no fat-burning effect at all?

BPC isn't going to speed up fatloss if the rest of your diet sucks, so I'd start looking at that first.

It works the same, but I think you're the first person I've ever heard say it tastes better.

Lol, yeah it's a bit embarrassing but I can't help it. The real stuff is just way too strong for me.

Less grounds+more water=WEAKER COFFEEI'd do that before the instant stuff some call coffee. LolOnly time I've made instant was when I didn't have a way to brew coffee and that stuff was nasty.
