I see that the post workout shake is recommended at night. This shake includes caffeine. To me it does not make sense to include caffeine so late at night. Any guidance here?

Well caffeine doesn't affect my sleep at all, and I've tested this with my zeo multiple times so I will take 800mg+ pre-workout at 7-7:30 daily.Use common sense.

I've had caffeine in a pre-workout, and a Rockstar during a re-feed. I never had issues sleeping, but this is me, I know thyself. If it doesn't work for you then, like Trevor said, use common sense.

Understandable. My chart is telling me to take the caffeine at about 8-9 pm or so and going to bed at 10 seems like it would be too close. I'll try it and see how it works but I thought I would ask others opinion that have maybe already tried it first.

Hi Adam, Just curious how the test turned out for you…. Any negative effect on your sleep taking caffeine so close to bed? Thanks!

I didnt have a direct relation to the caffeine but I took it out of the shake. I didnt want to risk losing any sleep especially since I am only scheduled for 7 hours

If you can handle the caffeine at night, take it, if you can't, then don't.  I personally can't handle caffeine at night, so I don't take it post workout, but I do take it pre-workout.

I am very sensitive to caffeine so only use it in the morning and pre- workout.

I have a lot through out the day and even at night sometimes. It varies by the person and you will need to figure it out. I found a good sleep rhythem since my new work schedule so I can have caffeine minutes before bed and still pass out easily. I think your sleep pattern is more important than anything else.
