Hi, since many of us are eating a meat based diet, eating vegetables only their flavor rather than nutritional benefits, Isnt there any danger of calcium deficiency? I understand that if you avoid grains and carbs your ability to absorb minerals increases and also that the most important factor influencing bone density is muscle strenght. But I have experience feeding captive strict cranivores (mostly reptiles, amphibians and fish), I know for certain that a  meat only diet (be it organ or muscle) will generate a serius clacium deficiency. How do you manage that issue? I mean anything besides taking calcium pills or not avoiding dairy (I do avoid dairy for the ULC days but only because I am pretty much addicted to it, so I tend to over eat) I would really apreciate your opinion.

I eat plenty of leafy greens and cheese and then add herbs to meat.  This pretty much covers it.  I'll take a multi 1-2x per week usually too.

Supplement with magnesium.  Nearly everyone is deficient in it and your need for calcium goes way down when you have good magnesium levels.  Toss in some vegetables or even better, organ meats, and you should be set.

Yeah. My impression is that most people have enough calcium and just aren't properly able to utilize it.
