Calf liver

    So Tonight I'm planning on making some calf liver, I've never had liver before though so I was curious if anyone had any recommended recipes for it? I just need some ideas other then liver and onions, haha.

    Fry it in a cast iron pan with butter. It goes good with mushrooms too.

    I tried to give liver a chance, but I just can't do it.  It's by far the most disgusting food I ever tasted.  The only way I made it tolerable was by eating with bacon.

    You inspired me.. I read this post right before heading to the store. I have always read about how wonderful liver is for you, and how you should even feed it to your babies, so this was the final push for me to get some. We try it tonight!     My mom use to fry chicken livers when I was little. Back then it was good. Not sure if I could eat it now.

    Brazilian grill i go to sometimes brings around chicken hearts on a skewer.. haven't had the balls to try them heh i'm not really a fan of organ meats

    That's what I would do.  Grind it up with ground meat to make hamburger.  Mask that disgusting flavor!

    Little late probably but some heavy gravy mixed with a little cooking wine and mushrooms, put in a frying pan and cover it. Yum… Liver Marsala!!
