Ryancarter1986KeymasterHow does this fit in if I'm carb back loading on evening of a rest day ? Or will the cycle time window change if that makes sense. For example a workout calorie plus day would start From evening meal & end before the next evening meal ?

Not really sure what you are asking here.....If you workout at night backload after, if you workout in the morning backload the night before, and ULC on non workout days.

Ryancarter1986GuestI know it's confusingOk my week looks likeM: train T:TrainW: rest T: trainF: trainS: RestS: rest So my question is due to training in the morning my backloads are in the previous evening. This makes me confused as to ulc on rest days when I will be backloading in evening? Any clearer?

gilley.daniel1MemberAlright, dude. So the point is to give your body energy for the next day pretty much so that you can stay low carb in the morning and afternoon and stiill have energy for your workouts. It's simple. Backload the carbs ONLY if you are working out the next day. If you aren't working out the next day then don't backload the carbs. That is, unless you are doing the Density Bulking Protocol.

Ryancarter1986GuestIncrease Size & strength but cut a little more. Is a banana after AM training advised with post shake? Or just purely carb feed at night only?

well calorie cycling and backloading are too different things. There is an element of calorie cycling built into backloading but in theory any time you are eating carbs you are eating an "excess" of calories. So you shouldnt be worrying about cycling of calories. Just keep your ULC days lower calorie than your backloading days whether they are training days or not. The AM carbs are going to depend on what goal is more important to you at present. Size and strength? Banana. Fatloss? No Banana.
