Trevor G FullbrightModeratorUnless it's a protein mix full of carbs. Then no.
Im talking about wedges, bread, frooty pebbles during backload so no need to count ?what abt carbs in sauces during backload?
If it's not dairy or meat, don't count it.Yeah, carbs in sauces count.
sweet. so i dont wanna backload on off days , how can i eat arnd 4000 calories without carbs? coz atm when its my off day i just go wirh pro and fats that makes upto2500-2700 calories, i guess thats too low during bulking as the guy above said it too
you dont. you eat carbs
So my off day should be like a normal training day. i have been backloading since 2 days and i havent trained yet and im feeling i have gone fat
You're likely hold some water, and you might have over done it.Are you sure you even need 4k calories?
I wkout 6 days/week and coz of physical job almost 7days/week, calculation for me was 3450 so i just add more 500 calories to it. Im not sure if i have calculated it right or not but i have been following this since last 3 months and cat see any change in the body weight. Maybe the problem was that i was calculating the protein from carb sources too (nutri grain cereal 100gms- p35/c84/f2). so i guess i should stop doing thatand just consume carbsDo u think my maintenance calories 3450 is correct figure for me?Should i count fat coming with carb meals or fat should be counted only preworkout or total overall for the day?( like i get some fat fromn wedges, i love eating iced finger buns and if i eat 4 of them i get 21gm of fat)
Those bars most likely have nut protein that you should count, but don't eat them they suck.Fat counts from the whole day. That might be correct for your needs, I was just asking. Don't worry about being so exact and hitting certain set numbers every day.Aim for roughly 1g per lbs in protein, if you over shoot some big deal. Aim for .75-1g fat per lbs, again if you ever shoot it isn't that big of a deal. Then fill in the rest with carbs. Don't worry about tracking things to perfectly and being so damn anal about it.

Again, don't go crazy about it.Just eat a little more food then you otherwise might, be full but don't be sick or eat like a fat ass, train hard and sleep. Setting a number of calories needed to gain muscle while controlling fat is stupid and damn near impossible.

That is a rough estimation of the max glycogen they can hold, not something to aim for.

I normally don't eat until around 13 hours of fasting, mostly because it works with my scheduled. Just do what works what for you.
