AMtreyMemberThe Carb Nite I had coming off the detox diet I had to consume well over 1,000 g of carbs. I could have eaten more if I wanted to as well.
but were you relatively lean to begin with?

SpueyGuestPlaquex, actually now that you mention it, I am extreeemely thirsty in the morning. So I've probably been "dry" carb loading.AMtrey, I've been including gluten, wheat, dairy, fructose, plant fats on CNS nites, however I do a super strict ULC week where I ALWAYS match fat to protein with fibrous veggies, I only eat animal fats and I even avoid eggs to make sure my ULC week is as insulin absent as possible. And yes I'm seeing consistent results, the tendon thats responsible for the middle separation of a 6 pack is finally showing for me, and my lower abs are beginning to take shape. So I'm fairly lean and I still don't need to watch my Carb Nites yet.
Dang congrats first of all on the results you've made, looking forward to seeing my damn abs...and no eggs?? I eat like 4 a day to help bring up my protein/fat intake...
Thanks Tex! Yeah I really wanted to make my ULC days the best possible so I can release the brakes on Carb Nite, and eggs don't fill me up so I ended up "overeating". I just make a huge jug of decaf iced coffee with splenda and double cream as a liquid fat source. Good luck with your abs!@AbbeballDo you take creatine? I use to be 2kg lighter but fatter when I first started CNS, then after using creatine for a few weeks I'm now way leaner but 2kg heavier, that might affect your measurements.

Lol I'm the same. I've slammed 1400 before, but I had a day and a half to do that much. Or at least a full day.

Alright well then what the hell did YOU eat that day? Somebody...help! I swear this is the first time I've consistently failed any nutritional protocol, and it's due to not being able to cheat as much as required!-Adam

SpueyGuestWouldn't the hormonal response that we need on CNS can be achieved with 500g of carbs? 1000g of carbs is just cashing in on the opportunity to binge and not get fat right?Adam are you not seeing results at 500g of carbs or something?

It's different for different people. It will vary by how well they handle carbs, how lean they are (leaner likely will need more), and how they train.I will feel like shit post CN if I don't eat 700g+.

Haven't been on CNS long enough to say. I've recently switched over from doing CBL, where my understanding was the more the better but anything you're getting over zero will help. CNS, though, seems like it has a certain minimum to trigger the increased leptin levels and so on, and it's very possible I just may be overestimating what that minimum is. I read through the CNS book but couldn't find any charts for carbs by weight similar to CBL. -Adam
