Gl;itch.eMemberI have no idea what the “Delta Chart” says but Im 6' and only about 80-90kg and I am easily recomping on 4 backloads a week of around 400-500g carbs PWO. Thats at least 1600g of carbs a week. No idea where that fits in with your calculations.

Gl;itch.eMemberShokat: I think you are making this too difficult. If you are only doing the one carb up a week I wouldnt even count how much carbs you are eating. Just eat until you really dont want to eat anymore(could be less than you think but is most likely going to be more). Remember this is for hormonal reasons, it's got very little to do with caloric maintenance.

+1I keep forgetting that CNS doesn't use the chart I am talking about that's in the CBL book! SorryI use this chart a lot now for my clients as it gives me a starting point for them after a prep phase.

sckielyParticipantCheers Guys, As i said, if youtry it out please give your feedback here. It would be good to get a few opinions
I'm in.... I am a couple of days into my 4th week on C.B.L. And, I'll be doing C.B.L. until the end of the year (14 weeks from now)Quick workout stats: (shooting for 800 carbs - based on the body-weight chart)Sat. - Chest & Triceps (300 carbs)Sun. - Legs ( 350 carbs)Mon. - offTues. - Shoulders & Abs (200 carbs)Wed. or Thurs. - Back, Biceps & Abs (350 carbs)If this looks good; then I'll go with this split. It may be a bit of a struggle as it's hard to get up to 350 carbs for me.
This looks pretty good!

bdtillmanGuestI am an engineer so I love numbers! I am down for trying this. I am coming of a 5 week stent on CNS and I lose about 5-6lbs from one carb nite to another. I want to lose fat and gain strength (SA) so I am going with 6lbs (545g), and I am training with wendler (4x/wk)Monday: Deadlift (two sups) - 250gWednesday: Bench (two sups) - 250gFriday: Squat (two sups) - 200gSaturday: Military Press (two sups) - 200gThis will give me a factor of 1.65 (vs 1.5 training 3 days a week). The carb amounts does not seem unreasonable for a 4X/wk training program. I actually think it might be a little low. One question, you are including the PWO shake in the carbs right? I’ll let you know the progress.

sckielyParticipantSorry for late reply. Yes PWO is counted.

Martin TranParticipantHmm, interesting formula. After punching in numbers, my SA carb count (the level where I saw the most progress) comes pretty close (455*1.5=682; ANS/4=170).

dudsyMemberWell this thread is pretty much 6 months old now. Did anyone who tried this have success?

I guess the lack of responses answers that question 😮

Martin TranParticipantI'm gonna try this out starting today. I'll let you know how it goes.

ALYSSA GONZALEZParticipantI am just starting out with CBL. I like the wholistic approach of this method. It sets a goal, but also allows variables, which I see as being the balance to CBL. I am not sure what my carb numbers are though. I don't think I can use the delta chart because I haven't consumed a “usable carb” in over 3 months (it's been a very interesting 3 months). Any suggestions on what I should set my weekly CL to?

hack_attackParticipantBump?

thestiffmeisterParticipantI'm interested to find out how much I can handle weekly as well, having been on CN for quite a while now.Unfortunately it's gonna take a couple weeks of trial and error to figure out, as coming off a stricter keto diet there is always a water rebound that makes it hard to find that sweet spot. In the past I think I had around 2000 g weekly at a bw of 145-147 training a bit less than I am right now, but I also was a little bit leaner, though not much.I don't think post CN weight is a good indicator just because of the bloat/digestion thing. My weight fluctuates anywhere between 10-20 pounds in a given week, but a lot of that has to do with how much time it takes to process all the junk I eat. That's the classic definition of a crapshoot haha.
