I am having a hard time figuring out the timing here.  I am back on Nightshift and work a 2-2-3 scedule 12hour shifts from 6pm to 6am.  For example this week I am off Mon, Tues, work Wed-Thurs, and am off Fri, Sat, Sun.  But next week Its opposite, I work Mon, Tues, am off Wed Thurs and work Fri Sat Sun.  Confusing I know.  I have been lifting shortly after I get up around 1:30 or so.  My days off I try to stay close to that time, but it does vary.  I have been going in to the gym fasted, then I do my post workout shake, and dont eat my first meal until I get to work around 6pm.  I usually eat 3 carby meals at work withing probably the first 8 hours with my first meal being the dirtiest.  Any advice, thoughts, comments.  Am I doing this correct?

Why are you eating carbs for 8 hours straight?

My first meal is full of carbs, my other meals are clean to include fruits and vegtables but still have carbs in them.  Is this incorrect?

Yeah this isn't Paleo. You backload PWO or the evening prior to a “morning” session for you. So you'll have to figure out what's best. Apply your times with someone who doesn't have an irregular work schedule. A normal 8-4/5 job. Basically use it as a template, to mirror what you should do.

Ok, I will work on dialing it in better.  One concern with the irregular scedule is the hormone release.  The theory of CBL is to feed muscle cells at the right time as to not interfere with growth hormone release, insulin response, etc.  My concern is that I dont know when my body is releasing what?  Does my body still release GH when I sleep even thoug I go to bed at 6:30am vs getting up then?  And does that change when I then go to bed on a more normal scedule on my off days.  I guess these are also questions I would like to know more about.
