Hey guys,So once school starts back up this fall semester I need to factor in rugby, which requires a good amount of running. Practice is only twice a week at 6:15-6:30ish and games are on fridays or saturdays.Should I do my resistance training prior or post practice? I could lift at 4ish or do late night sessions (at which time the Cafe may not be open to consume food, but I could get food for my room).Thoughts? Opinions?

I would do weights after, if you have the energy. Obviously practice is your most important aspect so you want to perform the best, so training before might not give you optimal performance. Now your practice does not necessarily warrant a backload, but you still could eat a carb meal after if your running DB. With weight training and rugby, a controlled DB approach will probably be your best option to optimize performance both in the gym and on the field.

I found lifting before intense sport for me results in muscle strain/sprains. So I try and split the days up but I'm sure lifting after would work too.
