also according to that calculator thing... i should be eating almost 2:1 ratio fat to protein.. to hit my calories... sooo im assuming if it was to stay at 1:1 id burn fat quicker..

I would stay at 1:1, 2:1 would not be enough protein probably.

Some people can simply eat protein/fat until they are satisfied and drop fat like crazy.  From this thread I can see you are not one of those people (I am the same way).  What you are following now is not bringing you closer to your results so you need to change it.  Your main goal is fat loss so what I would suggest is to lower the overall protein/fat, as the others have said.  I would maybe take it down to 225/225g and see if that pushes things in the right direction.  You need to make one adjustment at a time, give it an honest shot (2 weeks minimum) and evaluate.  I have seen people eat their GOAL bodyweight for grams in protein/fat, and I have seen people who need to cut their fat back in order to have the fat start to drop.  This is all highly individual and you will just need to play with it a bit.

I am also one of those individuals that cannot lose fat by eating 2500cals of fat and protein.  I did CNS for 2 months with minimal results. At first I was not counting calories and sticking to the basics, 12-14 hour fast, breakfast was 4 eggs with 6 slices of bacon 1tbsp coco oil, lunch and dinner was usually ribeye steak with brocolli and post workout had 2 scoops of ON Hydrowhey with creatine and leucine.  Once I realized it wasn't working, I made changes and just went by the Keto ratios, 65%fat, 30%Pro,5% carbs and scaled back to 1900 cals.  After 1 1/2 months at 216, I finally saw progress by making the changes and ended up at 209 and then started CBL(That's a whole different beast that I'm trying to tame), with just weights and no cardio, not even Kiefer's HIIT.  So, individually, you are probably going to have make changes and what works for everybody else might not work for you.  Personally, I don't agree with the calorie is not a calorie idea.Just my $0.02.

Agreed in some parts shokat, especially taking LBM to calculate protein and fat needs. However, counting calories and not using a 1:1 ratio for fat to protein means you arent doing CNS, which is fine if you choose to do so.Furthermore, a calorie is not just a calorie (a myth Kiefer has long ago disspelled). I would drop the protein and fat to 180-200 grams, drop the flavoured cream, powerade and such and reasses. Also, having the powerade before training that could contain ace-k (a sweetener that gives similar effects as sugar) could stop all fat burning during training. You are better off with coffee, maybe with a tbsp of coco oil.

Luna where in the CNS book or CBL for that matter does it reference a 1:1 ratio? I have read both and still cannot locate this elusive ratio?Furthermore if you look at the sample meal plans in CNS for 150+lb person the fat is at 120-130g and protein is at 200 not a 1:1 ratio as mentioned in this post unless your looking at from a calori perspective not weight. Same holds true for the under 150lb CNS meal plans. So if the ratio is calorie based not gram based then the sample meals in CNS would make sense but that would also make every poster in this thread wrong except me.So I'll welcome being schooled by someone on this 1:1 ratio if you can back it with source citations not just other broscientists repeating what for me so far is unverifiable information.I'll gladly eat my humble pie if I've missed this in either of the books.

It is not in the books but will appear in the revised editions no doubt. It is Kiefers current recommendation. You want the dominant macro to be fat by calories so that fat disgesting enzymes are produced in higher quantity to help with fat loss.
