Hey guys, i'm new here and i got a question .. i would like to buy kiefer's ebook and start with cbl !?density bulking?! as soon as possible. at the moment i am weighing 132lbs at ~ 5'9'' so yes, skinny.would you recommend me to start with density bulking after reading the book and a 10 days prep phase? Would it be possible for me to gain muscles in a considerably way? thank you for responses .. greets

I'd say it would depend on how much you train as to do a full DB or a SA with a backload on 1-2 off day's.If you are training say, 5 days a week, then doing a full DB I think would be warranted and would be great for you to put on some soild muscle.

well it depends, for me it is, i work out between 6 to 12 reps, or did you mean the weight in general?

I think you'd be better with a basic starter program like Strong lifts 5×5 or Starting strength. You could also look into Shockwave.Doing something that you are working 3xweek I'd backload on 2 off nights while make sure most of your carbs are glucose based on off days.

I will check out these pogrammes, so you mean i should backload 5 times a week (3x after workout and 2x day/night before? Furthermore you think that cbl would be appropriate for me altough i'm skinny yet ? I'm lucky to hear this cause im really into this diet.. πŸ™‚

Yeah, that's how I'd do it. (assuming you workout in the evening, it will be a little different if you workout in the morning)If you are skinny CBL will be perfect for you so that you can add lean mass with little to no fat.Are you new to lifting?

I would suggest Heavy Duty for CBL.Β  It's Kiefer's hypertrophy program.Β  I would have to disagree with starting strength.Β  That really isn't a workout designed to gain mass. Here is the link:Β  http://www.dangerouslyhardcore.com/1226/heavy-duty-cbl/

Thank you guys so far !! Honestly, this forum is great, i am registered for 1 hour now and everyone's trying to help.Well actually i'm not totally nes in lifting, some time ago i was a non sporty skinnyfat but lost all my fat, about 1yearΒ  i started to work out (machines only and too less calories) But some months ago i started to EAT a lot and to deadlift, benchpress etc and, for example, in the Last 2 months i have gained 6,6 lbs so it's Good πŸ™‚

This is an awesome forum, everyone is very helpful. In the case you aren't a totally new lifter I agree with Ibobland wholeheartedly about doing heavy duty.

absolutely ! well i have downloaded the Shockwave pdf now but what makes me surprised is the 5 split. as a beginner i would like to stick to a whole-body workout (ok, the main reason is that i really love my workout the way im doin' it haha). so, would a whole-body workout be ok aswell? other question is: if i backload 5 times a week, would it either be srength accumulation or density bulking? i am probably not enough informed yet cause i haven't read it yet but i will buy it in the next days. πŸ™‚ again, thank you so much !

You could do a whole body routine but I believe you will get much better results with more of a body part split if you are looking to add mass. Also you will be able to workout more and therefor backload more.If you were doing full body 3x a week (I wouldn't really do more then that) you could fairly easily backload 5x week, training days and 2 off days, this would be something in between SA and DB>If you were to do something like shockwave HD you could backload each day you train and your off days and run a full DB and you would be able to get away with that with less chance for fat gain.
