Recently, I have started to transition back into CBL after a one month stint on Carb Nite, and have started to do more consistent morning lifting sessions instead of my usual late evening workouts. I know Kiefer says to backload the night before, but I am slightly wary of doing this. Do the carbs have to be completely clean? Can i still have the same number of carbs? Anyone with experience on this protocol I would like to have some input on how it has worked.
Doesn't have to be clean but needs to be high GI carbs. I would just have a normal dinner and a dessert. You can use the charts from the book and experiment.
