In the book it is mentioned to NOT backload on off days unless you are density bulking.  I am strength accumulating. However I read in another article by kiefer that you are only looking for an insulin spike after training and this doesn't have to be from a HIGH GI carb therefore you DO NOT backload after training.  You backload on your off day.  So I am on a MWF split.  He says in the book to absolutely not carb backload on OFF days but in this article he mentions to not carb backload on TRAINING days.  So which do I do?  It seems like it would be advantageous to do it after the training to take advantage of your muscles being primed for the carbs to help with growth and the fact that it is much less likely to add fat on this "binge" of carbs.  Opposed to say backloading Sunday for Monday.  Sunday I would just be relaxing all day, maybe watching football in the fall and then I'm gonna slam carbs at night.  I would think I would be more apt to store these carbs as fat.  Please help I am very confused.

Ah you are referencing the shit storm that happened about a year and a half ago.  Follow the book.  Backload after training.  Some people get better results performance wise if they backload the night before workouts, but it's not recommended unless you have to.

Ok will do thanx.  That's where I was leaning towards.  I think I can grow a little more muscle this way but who really knows.  What happened a year and a half ago?  I could see how things could get a little crazy with this topic because it is extremely confusing.  I think this CBL was more set up for kiefers routine which I would strongly assume is NOT  3 day split.
