Just looking to see what others are doing in regards to CBL and strongman training.I've been utilizing CBL now for well over a year and have had great success....Very little fat loss (wasn't a concern) but with great strength and decent size gains.  I train 4 days a week - Mon, Wed, Fri & Sunday with backloads happening after each lifting day (7-10pm).  I've gained roughly 12lbs (193-205lbs) since September and would like to trim up a bit.I'm looking at changing to backloading for the next day's training (afternoon training) to help maximize a little more fat loss, while keeping the same size backloads (roughly 400-500g) WHILE still able to put in the volume needed for strongman.has anyone tried this? Thanks.

Kiefer talks a few times in podcasts about strongman training.  Look up Jim Laird's podcasts under J&M strength and conditioning.  I think it's the second interview he does with Kiefer where he talks about strongman nutrition and manipulating GI types throughout the day on a training day (assuming you're having high volume, long duration training sessions).  Basically going from low to high GI throughout the day.
