Brian TimlinParticipantI've changed over because although I was losing body fat with carb nite it didn't really suit me. I adapted okay after a week and a half, but after three and a half weeks I found I still wasn't as sharp and productive as I'd like to be and I also like to do more intense activities like regular HIIT, which is sort of prohibited on that diet.I'm a natural ectomorph, even though I carry a reasonable amount of muscle these days from training. I think natural body type can make a difference to what diets you do best on, at least before any dramatic composition changes. I only base that on observation and personal experience and nothing else, so it may not be accurate at all.I handle carbs decently, and I feel I need them to be at my best.So now I'm trying the carb backloading cutting protocol.Ultra low carb, workout, high GI carbs in the evening.I like it better already, feel more productive and back to myself. I'll see how lean I can get with this now.I think I underestimated body fat percentage in the past, due to some different info, which I now think wasn't fully accurate. I reckon that I've only come down to 18-20% body fat in the last few months. I'm lean, and I'd look very lean wearing a fitted t-shirt, but I've still a bit of a tum.A lot of the body fat that came off during carb nite came off my rib cage, which was a bit weird. My heart monitor which I put around my rib cage started to slip off during sprints last week! Only a bit of body fat came off my abs (only using my eyes to gauge that).I'd like to be able to see my abs, and hopefully carb backloading will get that for me. I'd like to get to 15% body fat and then maybe down to 10% or so.Is there a good chance of that with CBL?I'm about 160lbs but I'd like to add muscle as well as burn off 10 pounds of fat.I start the day with coffee and coconut oil (may have another drink of tea with cream at some point before eating), 3 hours later I have two whole eggs and some meat 15g or so, tea with milk, 2 hours after that I have veg and meat, tea with milk. 2-3 hours after that I do a HIIT workout, 30 min after that I do my heavy resistance workout, 1 hour later I have 50g of whey isolate fast digesting with a large HI GI carb meal with 30-50g of slow digesting meat. I'll have a desert (yogurt or ice cream or a choc bar) 2 hours after that. 2-3 hours later I'll have two whole eggs and hit the sack.Does that sound like a good plan for cutting body fat on CBL? I know I've not optimised it yet with supplements and pre and post workout shakes, but is that still a good plan?

Brian TimlinParticipantI've tried to understand the book as much as possible and now putting CBL into action.Does the plan above look good for now?
