Hi,I am been on CNS for last two weeks.  I notice slight difference in appearance (somewhat leaner since clothes feel little looser than before).  However, I notice that some people avoid cheese because it could halt their fatloss progress.  Can anyone explain the reason behind "remove cheese" from the diet?  I love cheese but usually find myself eating one polly-o mozz stick, little bit of shredded mozzerella cheese on salad, or put sliced cheese on ground beef. Do y'all eat 1 or 2 servings of nuts per day?  I usually mix nuts (one day, it would be almonds, other days I might find myself eating pistachios, macadamia nuts, or ol' dry roasted peanuts).  Do nuts affect your fatloss progress at all? Thanks!

Its all in moderation. Both for cheese and nuts. The plant fats such as nuts, olive oil, avocados, plant oils, sans coconut oil, can cause inflammation IF used too much and frequently. Now if you have some every now and then you'll be fine. Reason for removing dairy is because it can stall progress and some people do go overboard with these food items. Again everything in moderation and you'll be fine.

Thanks!  Yeah, I am not really depend too much on plant fats (I dont even think i use olive oil once last two week).  I usually track my calorie intake and would think that I got my protein/fat mostly from meat such as steak, salmon, tuna (not much), ground beef than cheese.  Halloumni cheese is so GOOD (you could grill them but i usually cook it once or twice per week).  Do you cook chicken more often to reduce fat intake? After supplementation and foods, I usually find my F:P ratio around 1:1... I am thinking about cut off some fat sources to bring it to around .5 to .75.  Chicken would be easy replacement over fattier red meat on some days.

Use leaner cuts of both ground beef or steaks. I do. I also up my ULC PWO Shake and have a piece of grilled chicken before bed 😉

Oh ok, I'll peek around  to get leaner meats other than usual suspect such as filet mignon or ribeye steak.  I will stay away from Ground Chuck 73/27.  Too way much fat for my liking.  Costco offer grass-fed beef 85/15, which I recently bought.  How often you eat seafoods?  i like to eat seafood sometime, and of course, it's a great fit in ULC days' meal plan.

It's a great idea to eat 1-2 servings of salmon a week, at least to get a good amount of fish in. I try to get a decent 3-6oz salmon in for a dinner. Walmart sells Wild Caugh Salmon fillets in the frozen food isle. It's inexpensive and worth getting. Also if you go to Walmart I get the 85/15 ground beef, because I have to and also because it's a leaner than 80/20

Buffalo Bison BeefFrom cutandjacked.com "Comparisons to other meat sources have also shown that bison has a greater concentration of iron as well as the essential fatty acids. Bison has fewer calories and less cholesterol than chicken or fish, 76% less fat than beef, and 68% less fat than chicken, so you get more edible meat for your money. Bison also has 35% more protein than beef, so you can eat 1/3 less and still walk away satisfied.Bison is also a natural source of creatine and one of the best sources of stearic acid, which is a unique saturated fat that has no impact on your cholesterol level. Bison can also be used interchangeably with beef in most recipes."

Yeah I like bison beef but don't like their pricetag, LOL!  Was wondering if there re good websites where I could score cheaper deal than one at my grocery. I live in Washington DC, so foods aren't that cheap.. I think 9 dollars a pound for bison ($2.3 per 1/4 lb), yikes!  I got frozen wild salmon portions from Costco. It's little pricy but it came in 6oz portion. No need to measure!

I have 4 string cheese sticks before bed, a slice here or there on burgers, 2 tbsp on burgers or steak depending on the day and HWC with my coffee and it hasn't hurt me yet. Yesterday was the first time in the 5 weeks on the day I had avocado since starting CN and it was a nice change up. Just figure out what works for you. I think one of the biggest problems with eating nuts is the fact that the little bit of carbs can sneak up if you aren't measuring them out and being cautious.

I'm a vegetarian so my protein sources have mainly been cheese and nuts and I've had success.
