Just wondering how many people have had their carb nite this week but are planning on eating a bit extra on Christmas night?  By doing this will it require another 10 days of  ulc? Thoughts? 😉

I had my CN on Saturday, as planned.  I will not eat anything non-ULC on Christmas, as that is not my CN.  Then again, I am the type that believes that only discipline begets results.  Results are what I am after.  🙂Whether a cheat on Christmas will require a re-do of prep is relative.  For some, it will.  For others, with more forgiving bodies, it might not.  If you are planning to deviate, I'd closely watch your progress in the week or so thereafter.  If you stall, or worse, add fat, you might want to consider a re-do of prep (and you'll know the likely culprit).  😉Cory

I strictly follow the See-Food-diet over christmas. All food that I see will get eaten.

Gonna be eating carbs Christmas Eve AND a Carb Day on Christmas. There are so few holidays that my family gets together…next being Easter, that I'm just going to enjoy it. Even if I gain a few pounds, and that's IF, then I know going back to my ULC meals for a week will take them back off. As for does the prep phase need to be redone – generically I'd say yes if you go nuts, but that could easily be like a normal week of ULC if you throw some HIIT and heavy workouts in the mix.

Same here! Some good workouts in between to use the calories for the right growth!

I'll be in Europe for a week in January and will probably do another prep phase when I come back. I don't really mind going ULC and will probably enjoy going back to the detox diet 2.0 after a week in Europe, lol... bacon, beef and peppers, I could stay on this diet all my life, lol.

Well I kinda did an unnecessary 10 day ULC and it lands finished on Christmas day. Pretty much an unneeded detox diet clean out. So yeah I'm having my CN on Christmas no doubt. And even if I had a CN on Saturday, I would still eat with my family because like Phxplay mentioned in her post, it's the time of the year family gets together and while discipline is great, our family likes to hold conversations and meet/greet around food ;D thus the chubby-ness as a child hahaOf course I'll find concrete blocks to lift and probably Squat some lumber. Brought my 30lb KB for HIIT 😉

I agree with everyone.  Enjoy yourselves.  I'm going away on a cruise Jan 6th so basically i'm gonna gain weight from today until then.  Prep phase when I return.  Ugh…Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2

The prep phase is not necessary if you eat carbs all day on Christmas, even if you had your Carb Nite the day before.  Though for the least amount of damage, save the carbs until the afternoon.  I know me personally I did this anyways because my breakfast on Christmas was always bacon and eggs.

We did Christmas today! I'm eating like I normally eat on Christmas, but just having even more carbs than usual. The hardest part is that my stomach is not big enough to fit all the food that I want to eat into it. I'm hoping to finish the day with a tub of ice cream to myself, then reprep for 10 days. Personally, I think reprepping is great. It forces your body to learn how to get better at burning fat for energy, and you will feel better on future ULC days thanks to better fat adaptation.

So if I had my CN on Saturday and if tomorrow ( xmas) I eat ULC all day….work out, have my PWO shake and a salad and then indulge in some dessert I should be OK to continue on with my regular schedule?  I could care less about the stuffing and mashed potatoes….I just want a few chocolate caramels and some ice cream  🙂  BUT I dont want to ruin my progress thus far either….thoughs??

You can also do HIIT the next morning if you want to be super safe

Sorry in advance I know this is a CN post and I'm doin CB DB but I was wondering the same thing… I already went of track today at the my work Xmas b fast with a crazy banana pecan waffle and I know tomorrow isn't going to be much better ( I gotta live a little).  But day after Xmas I start training with a personal trainer and a great powerlifting gym, which I'm super stoked about.  So hopefully some intense training will cancel these two bad days out.  Merry Xmas!
