guitarjonParticipantI did my full-on CN on Saturday as usual and since I'm using a mod-CNS approach my mid-week mini-CN is on Wednesday. I trained legs yesterday and today I did some fasted HIIT right before a stupid-long (but good) and heavy upper body workout. Tomorrow I'll be eating carbs all day and Wednesday I'll be training in the morning and backloading in the evening. After that I'll likely go ULC until New Year's Day with training on at least 4 of the days in between as well as a couple HIIT sessions. I know from experience that I tend to stress myself out waaaaayyyy more than it's worth. I'm extremely disciplined when ULC and as active as I am, it's very unlikely I'll put on any weight, but IF I do, it won't be around for long.

Sveta1017MemberSorry in advance I know this is a CN post and I'm doin CB DB but I was wondering the same thing... I already went of track today at the my work Xmas b fast with a crazy banana pecan waffle and I know tomorrow isn't going to be much better ( I gotta live a little). But day after Xmas I start training with a personal trainer and a great powerlifting gym, which I'm super stoked about. So hopefully some intense training will cancel these two bad days out. Merry Xmas!
How long and how strict have you been on CBL? Carb nite is different than CNN but if it were me I might just do the prep phase again!Sent from my KFTT using Tapatalk 2

CainoParticipantSo if I had my CN on Saturday and if tomorrow ( xmas) I eat ULC all day....work out, have my PWO shake and a salad and then indulge in some dessert I should be OK to continue on with my regular schedule? I could care less about the stuffing and mashed potatoes....I just want a few chocolate caramels and some ice cream 🙂 BUT I dont want to ruin my progress thus far either....thoughs??

preppypyroGuestIve just got done pretty much 2 days of eating “normal” and I dunno about you guys n gals, but I sure feel much worse then when Im eating ulc. Worst part for me, we just had a baby, and everyone wants to come see her, so we have like 6 christmas meal nights this year instead of the regular 1. Oh well, good thing its just once a year (ish!)

I backloaded last night with my Grandma's pumpkin pie, a festival of crisco (pure hydrogenated vegetable oil) and gluten. I never felt so terrible from food in my entire life.

It was good when I was eating it because it tasted so good, but when it was over I felt like someone punched me in the stomach.

Yeah it was your body saying WTF I hate you!!! I had the same feeling last night when I ate Christmas pudding, woke in the middle of the night with sweats and thought I was going to vomit, instead I just needed the toilet, but in paying for it today with a inflamed gut and probs more fat around the waist. Cory McCarthyMemberI was pure ULC yesterday, as planned. I am looking tight, surprisingly full (this morning), and on my way to a positive weigh-in this Saturday. ;DCory

I always tell myself that I am going to allow myself to cheat, but when the moment arrives, I just realize that I don't need it. It just isn't a big deal to me anymore. I ate some pumpkin pie for a backload, but that is within protocol. It also helped that we had plenty of filet mignon at dinner!

Sveta1017MemberI envy you Cory! I did fine until around 6pm when my husband brought home a tray of baklava… I ended up having a small piece. The scale is still up after my CN (Saturday) and its getting annoying so I'm gonna brutalize myself in the gym today and see if that helps.
