Hey guys, I go to the gym a few times a week. When I joined i asked for a program that was purely to burn fat, not to bulk up. I don't really lift heavy, mostly super sets of lighter weights, and have an upper body program, a leg program, and a core program. Could someone please explain what some the program's you talk about, that work well for CNS?. I'm happy to stay where I am, gaining a little muscle would be ok, but not a major goal. Thanks guys

Lifting heavy is going to be your best path to losing fat.  You can move through your workout quickly and keep your heart-rate up, but heavy weight fixes all things.

Lift heavy, take 3 min rest breaks.

Start lifting heavy.  What you are doing now (super sets with light weights) is actually more likely to put mass on than if you lifted heavy. What are you trying to do, CBL or Carb Nite?

Assuming that your a lifting newb, for CNS i would do shockwave just to start out, and see what your body is capable of handling (volume wise) on a carb-restricted plan such as CNS.  Then if you feel like your ready for more.. add some more ELECT sets.

Ok, so i've changed it up a bit, im doing extra reps on my normal weights to feel the burn, then doing another set of the same excercise, but with heavy weights x 6_8 reps. This seems to really burn, and my muscles feel much more sore after. Im at 5 weeks and im starting to get my food dialled in, my weights dialled in, and am looking much better, and feel great. Sweet!I'm going to check out shockwave too, sounds interesting!
